CNN  —  At least $191 billion in pandemic unemployment benefits could have been improperly paid, with a “significant portion” attributable to fraud, according to a new estimate from the Department of Labor’s Office of Inspector General. CNN  —  The 8th US Circuit Court of Appeals ruled against WinRed in its effort to block subpoenas from Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison’s office in an investigation into whether the GOP donation processing website violated the state’s consumer protection law. A kindergarten teacher from Jersey City was found dead in “what appeared to be a shallow grave,” authorities said Wednesday. Police discovered the body of Luz Hernandez, 33, on Tuesday while conducting a welfare check on the mother of three.
