New York Jets GM Joe Douglas was proactive in filling the void left by the season-ending injury to running back Breece Hall, as he reportedly made a deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars to land veteran James Robinson. The Jets are reportedly sending a conditional sixth-round pick to the Jaguars that could turn into a fifth-round selection if Robinson rushes for 600 yards this season, ESPN says. The Jets expect to have disgruntled wide receiver Elijah Moore back for Sunday’s game against the Patriots. Moore, who is unhappy with his usage, was sent home Thursday after an outburst before practice directed at offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur. He later demanded a trade. The Jets made him inactive for their game against the Broncos and left him in New Jersey as they went to Denver. A former State Department employee pleaded guilty Monday to engaging in illicit sexual conduct with minors while working at the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines. Dean Edward Cheves, 63, served at the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines from 2017 to 2021. Unilever United States has issued a voluntary recall of 19 shampoo products with potentially high levels of benzene.On Oct. 18, Unilever shared details of the recall on the Food and Drug Administration website. According to the announcement, the recalled items are dry shampoo aerosol products made before October 2021.
