Jet2 is known for its affordable flights and package holidays – which we all know “nothing beats” – but there’s another side to the company that some travellers may not know about: destination weddings.
Through Jet2Weddings and in collaboration with planners Perfect Weddings Abroad Limited, couples keen to tie the knot in Europe, or even renew their vows, can book a package that includes help with legal paperwork, local marriage fees and a dedicated coordinator offering expert advice.
Packages start from £1,650 (€1,932) and also include pre-wedding planning and personalisation, on-the-day ceremony coordination, and seasonal flowers for the couple.
Travellers can also enjoy £50 off per person, including for guests, on Jet2 holiday bookings, as well as guaranteed cabin baggage and an extra 22kg allowance – no doubt to pack wedding attire and other essentials for the big day.
Since launching in December 2024, couples can now choose from 80 hotels across its recently expanded destination portfolio in Europe.
Couples can choose from various destinations, including Malta, which Jet2 lauds for its “sunshine, stunning scenery and delicious cuisine” – a trio of necessary “essentials” for a “fabulous wedding”.
Other options include Sorrento, Italy, with its elegant hotels and idyllic sea views, described as a “timeless setting for a destination wedding”, and Santorini, Greece, known for its whitewashed villages and blue-domed churches, making it perfect for post-wedding selfies, with “picture opportunities are endless”.
Lanzarote, Canary Islands offers year-round sunshine, combining volcanic landscape and over 100 beaches with warm Canarian hospitality, while Türkiye is recommended for sunset ceremonies, with sea views across the venue, and offers a choice between secluded Dalaman for intimate ceremonies and Antalya beachfronts for larger wedding celebrations.
The Algarve, Portugal is also an option, with near-year-round sunshine and golden beaches, making it an easy pick for couples dreaming of an outdoor ceremony, with dramatic cliffs and coastal sunset receptions providing the perfect backdrop.
