Primary Care Business Council Executive Director Jeremy Stones says $750 million proposed by the government to fix Medicare is “welcome” but “not enough” to solve issues such as a “shortage of doctors” and “out-of-pocket costs”.
“The Minister, even he has said that in future budgets, more will be required,” Mr Stones told Sky News Australia.
“It’s a welcoming start, of course depending on how it is spent.”
