A thief stole a $2,500 piece of art from a Manhattan galley — just two days after he mugged an elderly man at gunpoint, according to police. The NYPD released surveillance footage of the suspect wanted in both incidents from last month, the most recent at the NuFrame Gallery in the West Village. A Florida amusement park ride will be permanently shut down following a 14-year-old boy’s fatal fall from the ride in March, the operator announced Thursday.
