A man was struck and killed by a tractor-trailer that was being used for construction in Midtown Manhattan on Thursday morning, cops said. The man, who was believed to be in his 40s, was walking on West 44th Street and Eighth Avenue around 11:30 a.m. when he was hit by the vehicle, cops said.  The victim was declared dead on the scene. CNN Business  —  Ford is again raising prices on the F-150 Lightning electric pickup, but the price increase will impact only the base model. The truck has only been in production since late April and prices were already raised once in early August. When the F-150 Lightning first went on sale, the base version of the truck, a version intended mostly for commercial fleet customers, was priced around $40,000.
