Really — we don’t. Times Atlantic sets no tracking cookies, builds no advertising profile of you, and we neither sell, rent nor share your personal data with anyone. There’s no paywall, no data broker working quietly in the background, and no forty-checkbox consent form to wade through — because there is nothing here for you to consent to.

So how do we keep the lights on? We carry advertising, and we may run affiliate campaigns with a small, pre-vetted group of vendors. We’ll be candid: an article that carries an affiliate link can be commercially led. But our aim is always rich, informative, genuinely useful journalism — and that aim will always prevail. Indeed, we treat it as an opportunity rather than a compromise. Those affiliates pay us a commission at varying rates, and we deliberately seek no other form of monetisation. That single, simple model is what keeps this site open, free and unpaywalled — without long cookie-management forms.
