China’s yuan tumbled to an all-time low on international markets on Tuesday, as investors fled Chinese assets amid fears about Xi Jinping’s shocking move to tighten his grip on power at a major leadership reshuffle. A 19-year-old pregnant woman was shot in the leg while sitting in a car Monday night in uptown Manhattan, according to police and law enforcement sources. The victim was not the intended target of the shooting that occurred on West 165th Street in Washington Heights around 9 p.m., the NYPD said.
