Instantscripts Chief Medical Officer Greg Scher says parents are encouraged to seek other medical options, such as “Telehealth” for children, to help reduce hospital overload.
“So many children especially at the royal children hospital who are going into the emergency department … don’t necessarily need to be in emergency,” Mr Scher told Sky News Australia.
“We are trying to encourage patients to seek other options and that option is Telehealth.”
