The Opposition claim to be in the dark over details surrounding price caps on gas while Greens leader Adam Brandt has said the Greens are “going to continue having those discussions in good faith”.
Opposition spokesperson Paul Fletcher said, “what the government is suggesting is this complicated bill is going to be rammed through both houses of parliament in one day”.
“We haven’t yet seen the bill,” he said.
Meanwhile the Greens want caps on electricity prices and incentives for Australian households to move on from their gas stovetops.
