Abigail White was one of the first to cash in on the OnlyFans craze but a murder trial heard her money was ‘controlled’ by her partner Bradley Lewis and their ‘toxic’ relationship ended when she allegedly stabbed him through the heart
A ‘Barbie model’ accused of murdering her boyfriend earned up to £50,000-a-year as a pioneer on the OnlyFans website, a court heard.
Abigail White, 24, was one of the first to cash in on the OnlyFans craze and raked in huge sums by sharing her erotic content online, a jury was told.
But a murder trial heard the money she made was “controlled” by her partner Bradley Lewis, 22, which was part of his “coercive and controlling behaviour”.
The jury was told their “toxic” relationship ended in violence when she stabbed him through the heart at their home after a row in a pub.
The mum-of-three, who has referred to herself as ‘fake Barbie’ in the past, admits manslaughter, but denies murder.
And giving evidence at Bristol Crown Court today, Dr John Sanford, a psychiatrist, told the jury that denying her access to the moneyshe made on OnlyFans was part of the way Mr Lewis exercised control over her.
The court heard White had never been employed regularly but made £50k in her first year on OnlyFans.
He told the court: “She was very knowledgeable of OnlyFans and did it in the early stages when it first came out. It was linked to her Instagram,
“That (the £50k) was in the first year – but then more people started doing it and there was more competition so she was not making as much money, but was still making around £1k-a-month.
Dr Sanford, told the court he carried out an interview with White after the fatal stabbing where she acknowledged her relationship with Mr Lewis was “difficult.”
He added: “She said it was very tough and controlling. She said they would argue and fight, he was manipulative and she described an element of coercion and control.
“She said he would control the money she would earn on OnlyFans and he would decide how that was spent.”
Describing the attack itself to the psychiatrist, White said: “He had dismissed my emotions which really wound me up.
“I came towards him with the knife, but cannot remember if he walked in it.
I have no memory of actively trying to stab him. I am not sure how it happened. I think he went near me and then it went into him.
“It was not a big stab. After Bradley stood there, looked at me and said my name. I knew from his reactions he was not right and saw blood spurting out of hm – it was really bad.”
White also told the psychiatrist, Mr Lewis was “repeatedly unfaithful to her and “dismissive of her emotions” and alleged he was “violent when no one was around.
When asked why she stayed with him, White said: “I loved him and wanted to keep the family together. I’ve got attachment issues and he is all I ever loved. Sometimes I threatened to leave he he threatened to kill himself, but I didn’t want that.”
Earlier in the trial. the jury heard Mr Lewis was stabbed through the heart after he said he didn’t want to be with her then she ‘lied’ to police that he’d stabbed himself.
Abigail White, 24, plunged the knife into the chest of Bradley Lewis, 22, which went through the gap in his ribs and pierced his heart.
Earlier that day, Bradley met up with White and her friend in a park and told her: “I don’t want to be with you anymore, Abi.”
He was rushed to hospital after the stabbing on March 25 this year, but was pronounced dead in hospital in the early hours of the following day.
He chillingly told a pal “I’m dead when I get home” just minutes before she stabbed him to death, the jury was told.
The court heard from forensic pathologist Dr Basil Purdue that a 7cm deep stab wound penetrated Bradley’s heart.
He said Bradley had been stabbed with ‘no more than moderate force’ and the knife passed through his rib cartilage before entering the main pump chamber of his heart.
